Psychotherapy for Healthcare
Who we are and what we do

Psychotherapy for Healthcare delivers high quality training and clinical services that combine our psychotherapy, research and teaching experience to promote effective, safe practice and staff well-being. From its roots in working with healthcare professionals, Psychotherapy for Healthcare has evolved to support and train staff from a variety of sectors, including social care, mental health care and homelessness.

Our healthcare providers

To all our colleagues: healthcare workers, counsellors and psychotherapists, social care and key workers, wherever you are.
As the world struggles to save lives, and communities are losing loved ones, it is apparent that the Covid-19 pandemic is, among other things, an enormous psychological challenge.  Psychotherapy for Healthcare has been dedicated since inception to supporting healthcare workers, social care providers and first responders in dealing with crisis and adversity, through our training and workshops.  In the past weeks we have been working hard to convert our workshops to online format so that we can reach all those who can benefit from our training, in particular Critical Incident Debriefing and Understanding Resilience.
We are looking forward to training and supporting you, so that you can support your staff, colleagues and clients in these difficult times. Anyone who took part in our workshop will know that we are approachable and professional and that we are passionate about providing solid training for empathic support.  We are looking forward to hearing from you and to e-meet you on our online workshops.

Stay safe and well,
Shiri and Sarah
